This collection consists of Congressional correspondence regarding Vietnam from the National Security Council Records Management System numbered documents. It includes correspondence to President Clinton or the National Security Advisor from Senators and Representatives on various subjects regarding Vietnam such as the presidential trip to Vietnam, lifting of the trade embargo, normalization of diplomatic relations, selection of U.S. ambassador, and POW/MIA issues. In addition, the collection includes correspondence from President Clinton in response to Congressional queries and requests. The files also contain background material, routine memoranda, and reports on U.S./Vietnamese relations.
