Description
This Mandatory Declassification Review request was for correspondence between President Clinton and German Chancellor Helmut Kohl between January 20, 1993 and October 27, 1998. Documents being released consist of routine correspondence, mostly congratulatory in nature, as well as transmittal and background memos from NSC staff on this correspondence. Also included is a January 28, 1995 memo to the President from the Secretary of Defense report on issues concerning Russia, Bosnia, and NATO.
