This collection consists of the records of Alexis Herman, Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, 1993-1997. It contains correspondence, schedules, memoranda, talking points, invitations accepted and regretted by Herman, background materials, and newspaper/magazine articles on a variety of topics. Two subjects dealt with at length in these records are health care reform and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993.
