Jordan Tamagni served as a Special Assistant to the President and Speechwriter in the Clinton administration from 1995 to 1999. This collection consists of speech drafts, magazine and newspaper articles, books, handwritten notes, correspondence and schedules. A large percentage of the records consist of reference material and background information used in the the composition of speeches for President Clinton. Speech drafts found in this collection cover a wide spectrum of domestic issues, e.g., gun control, crime, civil rights, immigration, education, and the economy.
