This collection consists of records related to Piyush “Bobby” Jindal, who served as the Governor of the State of Louisiana (2008 – 2016). In 1998, Jindal was appointed at the request of Senator John Breaux (LA) to the director of the Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare. The collection contains of email correspondence between White House staff concerning Bobby Jindal and his role as the director of the Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare. This collection also consists of Worker and Visitor Entry Systyem (WAVES) and White House Database (WHODB) records related to the Republic of India Official Dinner September 17, 2000, and event Jindal attended.
