Description

This collection consists of the files of Jennifer Klein. From 1993 through 1999, Jennifer Klein served as a health policy assistant to the First Lady while simultaneously working in the Domestic Policy Council as a senior policy analyst. She later served as the Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy. The collection contains documents on topics relating to abortion, adoption, breast cancer, children and child care, health care reform, Medicaid and Medicare, re-organizing government and regulatory reform, tobacco, and women's issues. The records include articles, correspondence, drafts, information packets, legislation, memos, reports, speeches, and talking points.
