Michael Waldman - Speechwriter - Collection Finding Aid

This collection consists of the speechwriting files of Michael Waldman. Waldman served in the Clinton Administration from 1993-1999. He was responsible for writing and editing nearly 2,000 speeches, which included four State of the Union speeches and two Inaugural Addresses. This collection consists of copies of speeches and speech drafts, talking points, memoranda, background material, correspondence, reports, handwritten notes, articles, clippings, and presidential schedules. His speeches focus primarily on domestic issues and events.
