This collection consists of Carol Rasco’s Subject series, in the Domestic Policy Council. Records in this series reflect the wide range of domestic policy issues handled by Rasco and her staff. Issues include: health care, education, violence and crime prevention, employment, state and local communities, civil rights, Americorps, housing and homelessness, Empowerment Zones, health care, and the arts. The records include memos, letters, reports, meeting notes and agendas, pamphlets, handwritten notes, newspaper clippings, schedules, and magazine and journal articles. Rasco's files include memos to/from DPC staff, White House staff, President Clinton and Vice-President Gore, and various Cabinet members. The files also contain correspondence to/from other agencies, public/private organizations, as well as individuals.
