Heritage Rivers - Collection Finding Aid

This collection consists of records relating to American Heritage Rivers, an initiative aimed to reward communities that protected American rivers. This collection consists of correspondence regarding applications for nomination and designation as an American Heritage River, document productions, executive orders (including drafts and supporting correspondence), action plans and background, remarks, reports, resolutions, scheduling material, press statements, talking points, and printed web pages. This collection also contains material from the various American Heritage Rivers committees including agendas, background material, correspondence, and meeting notes.
