This collection contains correspondence from William A. “Bill” Galston to the White House. From 1993 to 1995, Galston served as deputy assistant for domestic policy to President Clinton. He is also a founding member of the Board of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. The records include a memorandum to the president, as well as background information on and publications by participants in a scholars’ dinner and discussion scheduled for January 7, 1996, in preparation for the 1996 State of the Union address.
