This collection contains material regarding a bilateral meeting between President Clinton and Japanese Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto while both were attending the G-7 Summit in Lyons, France on June 27, 1996. The records processed for this collection consist of National Security Council email correspondence, briefing papers, and planning materials for the meeting, as well as the transmittal material for the resulting memorandum of conversation.
