This collection contains records regarding Ambassador Peter Galbraith and the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia from 1996 to 2001. Ambassador Galbraith served as the United States Ambassador to Croatia from 1993 to 1998, and was a co-mediator of the 1995 Erdut agreement that brought the Croatian War of Independence to a peaceful resolution. The records in this collection consist of email and cable correspondence that mention or were authored by the ambassador.
