This collection contains records regarding Ambassador J. Stapleton Roy and the former Yugoslavia. From 1996 to 1999, Ambassador Roy was the United States Ambassador to Indonesia, a country that has not recognized the independence of Kosovo. The records include two Mary 12, 1998 emails containing United States Information Agency (USIA) reports of international press stories.
