Lissa Muscatine, Speechwriting – Collection Finding Aid



This collection consists of records that highlight the First Lady’s speeches given at domestic events and on foreign trips from 1993 to 1997. It contains “Talking it Over” drafts written by the First Lady and edited by Muscatine and other members of the speechwriting and First Lady’s staff as well as editorials, book introductions, and Op-Eds. It also contains administrative files from the speechwriting office, background information for trips and speeches, and drafts/final copies of scripts for videos by HRC. This collection contains press releases, reports, speeches, faxes, email, handwritten notes,correspondence, memos, and schedules of the First Lady
