Clinton’s response to a fax from members of U2 that began with the salutation “Mr. President . . . Elvis . . .” They wished him all the best on his attempt at winning a second term in office with a shamrock following their signatures. President Clinton's response, dated November 27 (after Clinton had won re-election), the President hoped his “second album” would receive “positive critical and popular reviews.”
