Gold plated bell with a black handle that depicts the Presidential seal and reads "National Distinguished Principal, United States Department of Education, President of the United States William Jefferson Clinton, July, 1997."

The National Association of Elementary School Principals presented this award to President Clinton in honor of his work improving education. The bell depicts the Presidential seal, and the inscription reads “National Distinguished Principal, United State Department of Education, President William Jefferson Clinton, July, 1997.”
