This collection consists of records related to the signing of the Memorandum of Security Assurances agreement with Kazakhstan at the Budapest summit of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) on December 5, 1994. The Security Assurances agreement was part of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and the Lisbon Protocol of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
