This collection consists of records related to Howard Paster, Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs, who served as the chief congressional relations officer for President Clinton in 1993. In addition to unsolicited letters of recommendations for White House employment, correspondence includes concerns from professional organizations and Congress, meetings with Members of Congress, White House memos on strategy on various pieces of legislation, and presidential phone calls recommended by Paster.
