This collection contains records regarding actor Christopher Reeve’s May 15, 1996, meeting with President and First Lady Clinton. Following his horseback-riding accident in 1995, Christopher Reeve devoted much of his time to raising public awareness and funding for spinal cord injuries research and treatment, as well as advocating for health insurance reform. The records include scheduling information, meeting briefing materials, correspondence, and newspaper and magazine articles.
