This collection consists of material dealing with the creation of the Hanford Reach National Monument in the state of Washington on June 8, 2000. This area is a 51-mile long stretch of the Columbia River home to more than forty species of fish, including large numbers of Chinook salmon. The collection contains faxes, correspondence, memoranda, reports, drafts, emails, notes, proclamations, press releases, maps and photos.
