This collection consists of records concerning Richard M. Nixon, the 37th President of the United States. During the first year of the Clinton Administration, President Nixon offered the new President foreign policy advice and observations from his travels to Eastern Europe and Russia. When the former president died on April 22, 1994, President Clinton attended and spoke at the funeral at the Nixon Presidential Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda, California. The records in this collection include correspondence related to meetings with President Nixon, drafts of President Clinton’s funeral remarks, and condolence messages.
