This collection consists of records sent to the White House from the Democratic Leadership Council’s Al From (or Alvin From) during the Clinton Administration. The collection also includes records relating to all meetings and call lists between President Clinton and Al From during the Clinton Administration. This collection consists of records dating from 1993 to 2000 that include articles, briefing papers, clippings, correspondence, invitations, letters of recommendation and resumes, notes, publications, reports, scheduling materials, and speeches. Events include conferences, dinners, galas, speeches, and town halls associated with the Democratic Leadership Council or DLC. Topics include economic growth, gifts, healthcare reform, higher education, the Hyde Park Declaration, New Democrats, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Third Way, and the first Presidential webcast.
