This collection consists of the speechwriting files of John Pollack, who worked for the Speechwriting Office from 1999-2001. The records primarily consist of speeches related to statements about individuals: eulogies, retirements, award winners, etc. They also highlight speeches or radio addresses regarding health care topics such as children's insurance, teen birth rates, and disability care; as well as domestic policy topics like education, monument dedication, and welfare to work. The collection includes handwritten notes, news clips and articles, press releases, speech drafts, talking points, correspondence, and memos.
