This collection consists of records regarding the reorganization of the United States Information Agency (USIA), which culminated in 1999 with its demise as an independent agency. The functions of the USIA were subsumed by the BBG (Broadcasting Board of Governors) and the Under Secretary of State for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy. This collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, speeches, and schedules.
