Patterned Kente cloth woven of green, black, yellow patterns over magenta wrap. The patterns: black & yellow double diamond; Stairstep; black & yellow triangles in square; Black, yellow, green arrowheads. 30 strips, sewn together with dark magenta thread
President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife Mrs. Nana Agyeman-Rawlings gifted and clothed President Clinton with Kente robe during the welcome ceremony in Ghana on March 23, 1998. The robe is woven of green, black, yellow in four different patterns--double diamond, square, stairstep and arrowhead-- and sewn together with magenta thread.
