An account of the resource
This collection consists of the speechwriting files of Laura Capps, who served in the Speechwriting Office from 1997-1998. The files include drafts of remarks and speeches primarily covering domestic topics such as memorial dedications and individual tributes. The records in this collection also include background materials as well as transcripts of speeches as delivered. The files contain drafts, memos, faxes, press releases, schedules, biographical information, internship applications, requests and proposals, press clippings, correspondence, and publications.
