Description
An account of the resource
This collection contains the records of Kathleen “Katie” McGinty. McGinty worked in the Clinton Administration from 1993 to 1998. From the start of the administration through the end of 1994 McGinty served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Environmental Policy and Director of the Office on Environmental Policy. In January of 1995 she was named as chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, through which she served as senior advisor to the President regarding domestic and global environmental, energy, and natural resources matters. She remained there until November of 1998.
