Description
An account of the resource
Finding aids at the Clinton Presidential Library contain a detailed description of the collection including the total number of pages or photos and length of video and audio recordings. Finding aids also include background information of the collection’s topic and details on the record type (ex: email, memorandum, briefing book, Betacam video, audio cassette etc). <br /><br />Finding aids describe collections at the box and folder level, and include a folder title list and information about the arrangement of the collection. <br /><br /><strong>Please note the majority of collections have not yet been scanned nor made available online.</strong>

This collection consists of records relating to the 1993 Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC). The Inaugural Committee was responsible for the planning and staging of all the official inaugural events. They worked to prepare guest lists and invitations, they distributed tickets, selected parade units, selected ball and gala entertainers, prepared event lists, provided housing and transportation, built parade reviewing stands and bleachers, arranged the media coverage, authorized the concessions, and marketed a variety of commemorative items including the official program and official medal. The files contain correspondence, memoranda, guest lists, invitations, reports, press articles, newsletters, diagrams, floor plans, schedules, calendars, post cards, and memorabilia (inaugural tickets, badges, credentials, passes, etc.)
