Scope and Content
The material in FOIA 2009-0862-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents
responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials.
FOIA request 2009-0862-F includes one selected master tape video recordings from the White House
Television Office.
President Clinton and Vice President Gore deliver remarks related to government performance and
proposed measurements to define performance in government. President Clinton signs Senate Bill 20,
(S.20) Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 in the Roosevelt Room on August 3, 1993.
Representative John Conyers and Senator William Roth make brief remarks after the President signs the
bill. President Clinton fields questions from press reporters briefly before the ceremony concludes.
The approximate running time of this event is 15 minutes.
