Scenario

- 19:45 hrs.
Around 150-200 guests arrive at the ground entrance. leave coats in
wardrobe, receive seating cards and proceed directly to the 4th floor
where drinks will be served.
19:45 hrs.
Prime Minister Oddsson and his wife arrive and await the following
guests at the ground entrance:
19:50 hrs.
The Vice Premier of Russia arrives and is greeted by the hosts at the
ground floor entrance. Those attached to her visit then accompany her
to the 4th floor to join the other guests.
19:55 hrs.
The President of Latvia arrives and is greeted by the hosts at the
ground floor entrance. Those attached to her visit then accompany her
to the 4th floor to join the other guests.
20:00 hrs.
The First Lady arrives and is greeted by the hosts at the ground floor
entrance before posing for a photo opportunity at the other side of the
elevators on same floor. (Should there occur any delay in the following
sequence a glass of champagne will be offered during the waiting
period in a designated area behind the elevators.)
Shortly before the First Lady arrives the guests on 4th floor are shown
to the restaurant floor (top floor). When everyone has found their seats
the Chief of Protocol escorts the hosts and Mrs. Clinton in elevator to
the 4th floor from where they walk to the restaurant floor where the
other guests await them. The hosts and Mrs. Clinton enter the dining
area from left and proceed directly to the high table. The Prime
Minister presents the other guests at the high table to Mrs. Clinton
before everyone take their seats.
When white wine has been served Pri:tne Minister Oddsson gives his
welcome (3 min.) from a podium located on his right and offers a toast
to Mrs. Clinton and other dignitaries present. Mrs. Clinton reciprocates
immediately and offers a toast to the hosts. When toasts are offered a
waiter will approach the speaker with a glass for that purpose as the
guests arise to drink the toast and give the speaker an applause,
After the toasts the media will be dismissed and the first course is
served. Floor-revolving system is turned on.
22:15 hrs.
After the second course opera singers Ms. Signy S~Bmundsd6ttir and
Mr. Bergtb6r Pa.Isson entertain with a few songs with Mr. J6nas
Ingimundmon on the piano.
On leaving the Prime Minister will offer Mrs. Clinton to take the stairs
to enjoy the view of the Oeysir-sbaped fountain on their way to the
ground floor where they bid fare-well.

THE FIRST LADY proceeds to table.
After aperatif is served, the Prime Minister proceeds to toast lectern and
makes a toast (approx. 2 minutes). THE FIRST LADY responds to toast
(approx. 2 minutes). THE FIRST LADY returns to seat for dinner.
