The reception will be held at the new Decatur Carriage .House, which is
accessible. A sign language interpreter will be present. Please call us at (202)
34 7-3066 (voice) or (202) 34 7-7385 (TDD) to advise us of other special needs.
The Decatur House, which is adjacent to the Carriage House, is a historic
house museum owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic
Preservation. It is the policy of the managers of the property to keep the
museum open when social events are held in the Carriage House. You may,
therefore, go through the museum during our reception. The first floor is
accessible. The second floor may be reached by a small elevator that will
accommodate most people using wheelchairs .
