Description
This collection consists of material pertaining to Cecilia Rouse. She served on the National Economic Council (NEC) under President Clinton from 1998-1999. Her particular area of expertise was obtaining H-1B visas (temporary work permits) for immigrants at a time when the United States experienced a high-tech boom. The collection contains emails, memoranda, drafts of bills, correspondence, lists, charts, and graphs. Extensive handwritten comments by Rouse can be found throughout these records.
