This collection consists of records related to the re-authorization of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency ACT (ISTEA) and the Clinton Administration’s proposed bill to address reauthorization, the National Economic Crossroads Transportation Efficiency Act (NEXTEA). The collection contains material concerning ISTEA, NEXTEA, BESTEA and TEA-21.
